Solo 3 V2 Error CodesUpdated 5 hours ago

Solo 3 V2 error codes and how to troubleshoot them

The Solo 3 V2 utilizes error codes to indicate when issues arise with power, charging, or internal components. Each code point corresponds to a distinct area for verification. Below is an explanation of each error and suggestions on what you can try before reaching out for support.

ERROR 1

Meaning
This code points to a battery-related issue.

What to do
Try a different charger and make sure the device is plugged into a standard wall outlet. If possible, avoid using power strips and surge protectors, as they can interrupt the stable power flow. Testing a second outlet can also help confirm whether the battery is receiving proper charge.

ERROR 2

Meaning
This code usually appears when the device detects a general power problem. This can come from the outlet, charger block, USB cable, or the battery itself.

What to do
Switch to a different charging cable and adapter if available. Plug into a known working wall outlet and stay away from power strips or surge protectors. If the error clears after changing the power source, the original setup may not have been delivering enough power.

ERROR 3

Meaning
Error 3 is commonly tied to the charger not supplying the proper power.

What to do
Try charging with another cable and charging block. Use a direct wall outlet to ensure the Solo 3 V2 receives a consistent power supply. Sometimes simply changing the outlet is enough to bring the device back to normal charging behavior.

ERROR 4

Meaning
This code usually indicates the battery needs conditioning or is having trouble holding charge.

What to do
Run three to four complete charge and discharge cycles. After one of these cycles, allow the device to remain plugged in for a full extended charge of approximately four and a half hours, once the battery is fully charged. This helps the battery recalibrate and often clears the error.

ERROR 5 and higher

Meaning
Codes in this range signal wiring or circuitry-related issues inside the device.

What to do
Before assuming the internal components are at fault, test a different charging cable, adapter, and a reliable wall outlet. Avoid power strips and surge protectors so the device receives clean power. If the code remains after trying a stable power source, the internal components may need attention.
